When a clean out comes before insulation
Most crawl space clean outs start the same way: something got in. A rat, a stray cat, water damage after a leak sat too long. By the time RGS gets the call, the insulation underneath the house is not doing its job anymore, it is contaminated.
A clean out comes before any new insulation goes in, not alongside it. Installing new material over what is already down there just buries the problem instead of solving it.

Deodorizing and disinfecting
Once the old insulation and debris are out, the space gets deodorized and disinfected. That step is what separates a real clean out from a removal job that just hauls the bad material away and calls it done.
It is also the step most homeowners never see, because by the time the crew leaves, the crawl space smells like nothing at all.
Chapter 03
Sealing the way back in
Entry points get sealed, whatever let the animal in the first time. Old crawl space doors get replaced with new ones. RGS finds every way back in, not just the obvious one.
