One envelope, three layers
A house loses heat in a particular order.
We work the whole envelope, but we do not pretend every house needs all of it. The inspection tells you which layer is actually costing you.
- 01 Above the ceilingThe attic
Old blow in settles, gets walked through, or gets ruined by rats. Soffit vents end up packed solid and the ceiling fan exhausts into the insulation instead of outside.
Remove what is up there, clear the ventilation path, then blow in to R-38 or R-49.

Cold floors in February usually are not the insulation at all. They are the penetrations around pipes, ducts and wiring, all pulling air up from the crawl space.
Air seal the penetrations, insulate and seal the ductwork, wrap every water line.

Skagit Valley ground is wet. Batt falls out of the joist bays, the ground cover tears, and anything that gets in through an open vent makes the space its own.
Clean it out, seal the entry points, lay new vapor barrier, then insulate.

The barrier and the insulation are one job. Laying batt over torn ground cover just buys you a year.

The inspection costs nothing.
An RGS inspector visits the property free of charge, goes into the crawl space or the attic, and leaves you with written recommendations and a quote. If we miss your call, you'll hear back the same day.

Beginning with an inspection, Isreal provided photos on the current state of our very tight and atrocious crawlspace. Followed up with a detailed plan which included removal of debris, sealing all entry points, new crawlspace doors, wrapped all pipes, replacing all insulation, laying a vapor barrier, installing a sump pump, and installing piping for a dryer vent.

Yes. Our insulation install always includes insulating your water lines. Wrapped lines are part of the job, not an add on.
Yes. We remove the contaminated insulation, deodorize and disinfect the space, seal the entry points so nothing gets back in, then install new insulation and vapor barrier. For attics we handle rat, bat, bird, raccoon and opossum exclusion.
R-38 or R-49 blow in, depending on the attic and what you are trying to achieve. We also install batt insulation, add to existing attic insulation, and remove old blow in or batt insulation before a new install.
Senior and military discounts are available. We are also on the Cascade Natural Gas contractor team, so on qualifying work you may be able to claim a rebate from them on top.
